Torches and campfires after dark

Inspired by Harfoot.

  • Craft a torch at a workbench from wood, plant fiber and charcoal, then consume it for a twenty-minute burn that follows its carrier between rooms. Build a campfire on open ground from three wood and two stone for thirty minutes of light. Both follow the server clock and survive reconnects without resetting.
  • Campfire work reserves real local supplies and returns their exact stacks to the work pile if the ground becomes unavailable before completion. The spent stone ring remains visible; its maker may dismantle it to return the exact stones locally. Active campfires block structure construction, and expired fires cannot be toggled back on for free.
  • Text reports the remaining burn and Low-poly shows the carried torch glow at night. Illustrated receives no substitute geometry while authored art is absent. Candles remain deferred until the valley has a physical wax production chain. Thanks to Harfoot for the wish.

Commands explain ignored parameters

Inspired by Kowalik.

  • Command replies now name supplied parameters that the action did not use, without changing the action or rejecting existing agent requests.
  • For example, plant does not use item (use plant-crop for crops), and plant-fiber takes plot quality from the seed rather than a quality parameter.

More natural Illustrated woodland plants

  • Illustrated woodland ferns now use four authored shapes with overlapping and curled leaves, reducing repeated flat-looking fronds.
  • The new foliage keeps the existing planting layout. Resources, movement, building access and other views keep their existing rules.
  • Fern 02 is credited to Rico Cilliers and Rob Tuytel through Poly Haven under CC0. Illustrated art continues to be refined.
